Drunk on Love

I liked this book because the story was really cozy. Somewhere in a small town in California and a winery as its main location- this sounds perfect, isn't it? I also loved the fact that the protagonist Margot is a business owner and even though the winery was not her initial decision she accepted her heritage and went all in. I often got reminded of my own work life and the ton of e-mails waiting to be answered in my inbox. Margot is a workaholic, but she also loves great food and evenings with her friend Sydney who works as a barkeeper. What coincidence that Margot meets Luke in that bar! Somehow it was difficult for me to be enthusiastic about the love story, somehow there was just too much miscommunication for me. It is definitely a solid, cozy romcom but not a five stars book for me. Still, I am eager to read the other novels of the author.
