GREAT !
A truly great book. It has an extraordinary writing style that gives us a unique insight into Juliet. The short chapters and great flow make you fly through the pages. The book is a fantastic start to a great series. The character development throughout the series is also very impressive. All the characters you meet have depth and often develop in ways you can't predict. The plot twists also surprised me a lot and kept me in suspense throughout the series, including cliffhangers after the individual books. I love the whole series and can only recommend it to everyone. -

Captivating start to the series!
The book is about Juliette, who is held captive because she has a deadly power. Now she wants to stand up against the people who have held her captive, and with that she puts herself in very great danger… This book has triggered so many emotions in me. I don't read much in the dystopian genre myself, so I wanted to start small, and what can I say it captivated me directly, and I couldn't stop reading it. The book is a very big recommendation and perfect for people, who want to try the genre. Very simple written and super understandable. -

I would have loved this Book as a teenager!
Juliette is locked up in a cell for a while now and hasn't touched anyone for exactly 264 days. Her mind is racing and sometimes she can't even process her thoughts. One day she gets a cellmate and the story begins. I really don't want to spoil too much, but there are people who want to use her for their advantage... I'm curious to read the next book!
