The Core: Book Five of the Demon Cycle

I loved every page of the demon series! And "The Core" is a powerful and deeply satisfying conclusion to Peter Brett’s Demon Cycle. It brings together years of character development, high stakes, and brutal conflicts in a way that feels both epic and earned. The world is rich, the emotions hit hard, and the ending delivers real closure without losing the series’ trademark darkness. I loved every page—an unforgettable finale to an incredible fantasy saga.

Mister Brent, what have you done with this series?! ... The first book was brilliant with living world and intriguing characters/problems ... but each additional book put this aside and this last instalment is only mild schadow of the first book ... The characters are overpowered with powers, whose origin is not fully explained (how did they obtained them and how can they be so prolific with them, when they did not posses them until recently?!?!??!?!) ... How is it possible that all the warriors which trained all their life are so weak commpared to 'new' warrior girls? ('-ting') .. there is no balance for the man and women characters - man are only dumb and weak idiots compared to the 'all-perfect' women ... I love books with strong female lead characters, but to fully enjoy them it is necessary to have balance ...
