Song of the Six Realms

I read this book when I was in a bit of a slump when it comes to book, but despite that I finished it in two days only. I loved both Leads and the chemistry between them. No character in this book felt like they were just filler, all of them had a reason to be in the story and to act the way they do. Especially the male leads sister was fun, as was her fiance. Horrible people, really, but good allies and friends. I liked the villain of the story too, they were truly horrible and terrifying. My biggest problem with this book was the middle part. Nothing much happened, which was a bit of a bummer after an interesting start. Still, the character arcs made me push through. and the end made it worth it, because it was beautifully bringing all the themes of the book together.
