Exes & Foes

• ex best friends to rivals to lovers • dating competition / love triangle • dual POV • past and present chapters • idiots in love • so many reps: bi, lesbian, nonbinary, demi, aroace • mobbing, verbal abuse, neglect, queerphobia, ... || I really loved Amandas debut novel "they hate each other", so *of course* I had to preorder this one as well. The story is unique and funny as well, but besides our MCs Emma and Caleb, the other characters were kinda flat - even their love interest was meh - they didn't give them anything, so the reader is left wondering why they want to date them at all. After round about 50%, where our MCs are finally spending some time together, the story gets really interesting and the plot thickens. So yeah. It's a nice read, I love the writing style very much, but that's that.
