    One Dark Window

    • Fantastisch, teils lyrisch geschrieben • unglaublich düster • packend • Gothic Fantasy • charakterstarke Protagonist:innen || Ein Zweiteiler, der einem die Sprache verschlägt. Es dauert etwas, bis dich die Welt und die Charaktere gepackt haben, aber dann lassen sie dich nicht mehr los! Die Lore wird einem lyrisch mit jedem Kapitelstart übermittelt. Der immer häufiger und intensiver werdende innere Konflikt zwischen Elspeth und dem Monster, der ihren Verstand und Körper zu übernehmen droht, ziehen einen förmlich in den Bann. Habe noch nie sowas in die Richtung bisher gelesen und bin total fasziniert. Werde auf jeden Fall direkt den zweiten Band verschlingen. :)

You'll never know what is real and what isn't and that's fucking with my brain. || if you need your next read for spooky season, you have to read this. I regret not picking it up earlier, because this will be living in my brain for the unseeable future.

    rivaling coworkers, enemies to lovers, destined to be together, war-zone || a beautiful, delicate written young fantasy about letters, writing, lost family, grief, war of gods, finding yourself. The fantasy elements are little, but important. It's so good, I couldn't put it down and now I'm shaking and sobbing 'til the second book arrives. It's fast paced and slow, cozy and dark, cute and shocking, all at the same time! I haven't read something like this before! One of my favorite books! ... but please... please don't compare it to "Fourth Wing". Devine Rivals is a romance novel for fantasy readers - Fourth Wing is a fantasynovel for romance readers. Just wanted to put it out here.

Borison novel hits different! There was banter, it was witty, funny, emotional, everything I needed. Both MC feel real and likeable! I loved the dymnamic between all of the people discribed — that's a first!

    Otherworldly

    • YA fantasy • so so so cozy • found family • grumpy x sunshine • THE loveliest characters - Knox is such a cinnamon roll • queer (non binary, bi, lesbian) || F T Lukens' novels are masterpieces! The worldbuilding, the characters, the tension, their dynamics, the cozy, warm writing style, everything is perfect. It has a similar vibe to their previous novel Spell Bound - and I adored this book, so this one was an Instant buy. I cried happy and sad tears, I giggles, I screamed and begrundingly, I sobbed as well. It's so cozy with such warm characters and a little bit of action. Their books give a feeling of coming home.

    • ya romcom • academic rivals to lovers • slow burn • forced proximity • they're both so obsessed with eath other • can't say no to anyone but him x can only say yes to her • hate mails instead of love letters • people pleasing FMC || I freaking loved this one. It felt like being a teen and reading somethin' like "to all the boys I've loved before" for the first time again. The banter, the teasing, the yearning, it was utterly perfect. I devoured this one in one go, letting me stay awake way too Long — I just couldn't put it down, even if I wanted to.

I don't have words to describe the perfection that is this book. The betrayal, the lies, the tension , the banter — it's all so painful and yet so beautiful. Please.. Just read it, so we can wait for the rest of the series to finally be published together.

    • book 5 of the Game Changers series • spicy hockey romance • hockey star x team social media guy • a mf puppy! • MY BABIES • mentions of sexual assault || AHHHH THIS ONE IS PERFECT. I loved every second, every page, the two MCs, the dog, the redemption arc - and that this one is by far the least spicy book of the series. I'm so happy that I continued this series just so I could read this perfection in paperform. But you should know that here are heavy topics mentioned in this story!

    • Windy City series spinoff, can be read as a standalone, but I would not recommend that • FOUND FAMILY AT ITS FINEST • team owner x field coach • baseball / sports romance • workplace romance • 2 POVs • kinda forbidden romance || UFF, I got my ebook copy at the perfect time - on my day off... and I read this thing in one single sitting. This book means so much to me, I cried a couple of times, I laughed some more, but I grinned and giggled nearly the whole time. We finally get Montys love story and I devoured it with relish. Reese is a fucking girlboss and I loved her on every single page - as the first ever female owner of a baseball team there're many many stones in her way, but Montys helps her pick 'em up or overcoming them. || “Because of course I had to be labeled emotional by a bunch of fucking men. I’m a woman” || “I would tell them that they’re right. I’m not the right man for the job. I’m the right woman. Next question.”

    Happy Place

    Ich habe geweint, gelacht... Und dann noch mehr geweint. Dieses Buch steckt voller Emotionen, die so vertraut beschrieben werden, als würde man sie selbst erleben. Es ist kein Happy Buch und vor allem aber auch nicht für jeden gedacht. Aber sobald es häufiger in der Familie, im Job oder sonst wo kriselt, man viele eigene Tätigkeiten hinterfragt, ist es das perfekte Buch. Da ich noch kein Emily Henry Buch zuvor gelesen habe und sie zugegebenermaßen oft belächelt habe, war ich echt überrascht, wie gut dieses Buch ist (und wie oft ich Tränen in den Augen hatte). Es werden auf jeden Fall mehr Emily Henry Bücher bei mir einziehen. - Fake Beziehung - 2 Zeitschleifen - Second Chance Romance - Miscommunication
