Zodiac Academy 1: The Awakening

One day, the twins Tory and Darcy are just living their lives, trying to get by. Then the next day, they are suddenly not only heirs to the throne but also the most powerful Fae in Solaria. In order to claim their birthright and thereby get their inheritance, they just have to get through Zodiac Academy and learn to use their magical powers. But compared to everyone else at the academy, they know nothing about this world or all the different species living in it, and not everyone is happy that the long-lost twins are back. I’ve heard so much about this series that I’ve been wanting to read it for a while now. I finally got around to starting it, and I’m really glad I did. Ever since Harry Potter, I’ve been a fan of the academy setting, and I loved the grown-up version we get to see in Zodiac Academy. Thrown into a world they’ve never even heard of before, the twins have to navigate their way through it and figure out who’s on their side and who just wants to get rid of them. Although they are twins, the two of them could not be more different. Tory is the bold and confident sister who put a firm cage around her heart so nobody can hurt her anymore. On the other hand, Darcy is more of a kind and introverted person who likes to question things and understand what’s going on. But still, the two of them would do anything for each other. Both of them are relatable in their own way, and it felt easy to connect with them. Then there were the four heirs who tried to make their lives as miserable as possible. They seemed to be quite interesting characters, and I’m looking forward to learning more about them throughout the rest of the series. Besides that, I really enjoyed the world and its magical system. The plot kept me hooked throughout the entire book, and the tension remained consistently high, so I never felt like the story was dragging. I’m excited to see what more we will learn about the world and its magical system and how the story will continue. Overall, Zodiac Academy was a fantastic start to the series. I loved the world, the characters and the story, and I’m really looking forward to continuing with the next book.

Hear me out. Wenn du dieses Buch in die Hand nehmt könnt ihr es nicht mehr weglegen. Die Hauptreihe besteht aus 9 und vielen Zusatzbüchern. Trotzdem kann ich jedes einzelne Empfehlen auch wenn man sich an den Schreibstil ein bisschen gewöhnen muss. Packt einen die Story. Die Cliffhanger werden von Buch zu Buch immer stärker. Es ist wirklich heftig wie nach ich mich an den Charakteren gefühlt habe. Es gab Tage da bin ich aufgewacht und dachte es wäre real. Ich würde sogar 6 Sterne geben wenn das ginge

Meine Meinung: Düster, fesselnd, absolut süchtig machend! “Zodiac Academy – Erwachen” ist kein typischer Romantasy-Roman – es ist gnadenlos, brutal und voller elektrisierender Spannung. Tory und Darcy müssen sich in einer Welt behaupten, die sie töten will, während vier skrupellose Erben alles tun, um sie zu brechen. Ich habe jede Seite verschlungen, mit den Zwillingen gelitten und die gefährliche Anziehungskraft zwischen ihnen und ihren Feinden gespürt. Die Emotionen sind roh, die Kämpfe unerbittlich – und genau das macht dieses Buch so einzigartig. Der Cliffhanger am Ende war so bodenlos und hat mich mit gebrochenem Herzen zurückgelassen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten den zweiten Teil zu verschlingen. Für mich ein absolutes Highlight. Wer Dark-Fantasy mit Badass-Charakteren und knisternder Chemie liebt, wird hier völlig eintauchen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(5/5Sterne)

This is for everyone who is interested in zodiac signs, mythical figures and horoscopes. The whole concept and setting of Zodiac Academy is very intriguing, the story consuming and the plottwists suprising.

Zodiac Academy ist zurzeit meine Lieblingsserie! Viele Leute sagen, dass die ersten 2-3 Bücher nicht so gut wie den Rest sind. Ich persönlich fand jedes Buch großartig und sehr interessant. Tory und Darius sind bei weitem mein Lieblingspaar.
