The Crash

I had absolutely no expectations, didn’t read any reviews, and also didn’t know what the book was about (except that there would be a crash). And what can I say? I totally loved it, it was so gripping that I couldn’t put the book down. It felt like there was no time to breathe. After finishing the book, I was shocked and finally able to breathe and relax. :D

This book is truly amazing! Another masterpiece by Freida McFadden. I really liked the story and enjoyed it a lot while I was reading it. The plot-twist, as always, came totally unexpected and the tension build up was just - WOW! Overall a breathtaking thriller!

While reading the first 200 pages I was torn back and forth if I liked the story or not. It felt like nothing really happened after we found out who really is holding pregnant Tegan hostage. But then the story developed and I started to enjoy reading it. At the end, Freida was doing what she's doing best: Making her readers feel on edge with the plot twist! You can easily be fooled into thinking you figured out who the bad guy is, but is that guess really correct? Who's good? Who's bad? What's gonna happen next? Is this how it ends now? All these questions get answered at the very end. All in all, it's a good psychological thriller - easy to read and follow, even for people who might not read English crime novels very often.
