Notting Hill but make it Sapphic
I am quite happy that, after Blakes last book disappointed me a bit, “Dream On, Ramona Riley” was just as entertaining and cute as the “Bright Falls” Trilogy. I’ll always love the trope of “small-town girl meets Hollywood celebrity”, no matter how unrealistic it may be. The characters' arcs and their romantic relationship were well balanced and their differences in both personality and upbringing made for an interesting dynamic. I have always appreciated the rawness of the author's characters and Dylan was no exception. She was a mess, but one you couldn’t help but root for. However, I am begging Ashely Herring Blake to write a Butch character. Just this once. For me. As a treat.
