If the company you work for aggravates you daily, laughing along with "All Worked Up" is the key to better sleep. All Worked Up is a collection of insightful, funny, sometimes acerbic poems calling out behaviors of companies and the people who run them. Thought-provoking and entertaining, it mocks the games boards of directors and executives play, the ineptness of those too often allowed to manage others, infuriating colleagues, and many more work-related and work-adjacent sources of exasperation. Experiences and people showcased in this collection are recognizable to anyone who has been a part of a big business, government agency or major institution. Every reader will find comfort knowing they are not alone in their frustration. Every reader will enjoy the power of laughter and satire to counter the impact of work stress on their non-working lives. In this collection, author A. Martin Block shares his unique, firsthand perspectives gained from forty years as a civil trial attorney working as outside counsel and in-house litigation director for some of the world's largest corporations and government agencies. "All Worked Up is a brilliant, funny, thoroughly refreshing take on life in and out of the office." - L. Elliott
