    eBook (ePUB)

"This book is dedicated to that absolute a**hole, hope."

"This book is dedicated to that absolute a**hole, hope." The title "Chaotic Orbits" honestly describes the content pretty well. Throughout the three novellas brought together in this edition, we follow Ada as she completes one space heist after another, all while successfully seducing (and manipulating) the guy trying to stop her. This was an entertaining read, and funnily enough, I read about 50% of it during plane travel (which isn't quite space, but, you know). Ada is always 10 steps ahead of everyone (including the reader), which makes it fun to puzzle along next to Rian. Usually, I would expect the reader to be quicker than Rian too, because sometimes he is particularly slow in understanding that Ada is playing him *again*. I really enjoyed the space travel, the different worlds, and especially the environmental aspects, and that despite everything, Ada (and many others) were not ready to give up on Earth. Hope really is that a**hole. I would've loved to read more about the different planets specifically, and with the new bonus part at the end, I must admit I am hoping for a sequel. It has really set us up for more exploration in that direction, and I'd love to learn more about this universe! I must admit that the romance was the least important part for me. I really appreciated their witty banter, and the constant tension about mutual betrayal was a lot of fun. I just don't understand why you would want a romantic relationship with someone willing to betray you. That, however, might be the aroace-ness in me. If we do ever get a sequel, I am curious to see where their relationship leads! All in all, a fantastic space-heist read that I would recommend to everyone who loves space, heists, a little bit of mystery, and MCs who are up to no good! p.s. Did I spot an Avatar reference with the man pushing a cabbage cart, or am I making stuff up :D Thank you to DAW and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!
