ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Even today, centuries after its fall, Roman civilization remains one of the most important, decisive, and studied periods in history.
This work seeks to define the Roman style, which can be seen across military art, architecture, poetry, morality, politics, and law. As readers delve into the text, they uncover the enduring traits of that spirit: a love for the land, a passion for justice, a fascination with the supernatural, and a zest for life, to name just a few.
In other words, everything we have inherited from Cicero and Virgil, from Rome's jurists and statesmen, and through them, from the rest of the Romans who lived that unrepeatable moment in history.
