A Thousand Broken Pieces

This sequel touched me just as deeply as the first book – sad, yet full of hope. The characters evolve so realistically that I could truly empathize with them. What particularly impressed me was how Tillie Cole handles the themes of grief and healing. There are no quick fixes or sudden "cures," but rather an authentic journey of coming to terms with loss and mental health. The relationship between the main characters is marked by genuine love, yet also the challenges of life. It’s a story that shows how love and pain often go hand in hand, but also that there are always moments of hope. For me, this book is a real heart book. It moved me deeply, but also made me reflect. When dealing with topics like grief, one should be aware of the trigger warnings, but for me, it was an unforgettable reading experience.
