Visual kei taught the author for 20 years how to embrace being beautifully different. Having its roots in Japan, a country usually known for its strict social rules and expectations, it is one of the most unique and intense movements of creativity of humankind. The fairy tales of this book tell you about a little white crow, who found purpose in the world of visual kei and discovers its philosophy while finding her own way. She is guided by the songs hidden behind the QR codes. They are not only an inspiration, but also a reminder to the reader to always burn for the passions in our hearts. In the end it is all about opening our eyes, because there is more in this life to live for. "Indeed, there is no superpower, no cure for the overall painful mess which comes with fully living life in a capitalistic and meritocratic world. And still, some things are made to be the miracle we need to overcome all the ugliness and shame. Visual kei is such a miracle."
