The Wicked King Folk of the Air Vol.2

Jude Duarte, a mortal in Faerie, wants nothing more than to carve a place for herself among the fae. And now, it seems like she's done just that: she struck a deal with Cardan through which he has to remain on the throne and keep her in his court as an adviser for a year and a day. But a year seems like no time at all when Jude is trying to sniff out a traitor, keep the peace between all the different fae courts and protect her own heart from the wicked king ... In my opinion, this is the best installment of the series. It's thrilling, action-packed, and seductively lush with brewing romance.

What can I say, I had really high expectations for the sequel to "The Cruel Prince" and I was not disappointed. On the contrary - Holly Black managed to exceed everything I could have imagined. Much love!!

I love this series! Holly Black is truly the Queen of Faery. The end was truly shocking and overall was the plot amazingly paced.

The second book in this trilogy was just as great as the first one and the plottwist in the end made my jaw hit the floor as I tried to process what had just happened. Wicked King indeed. I loved every minute of it!
