"Smith weaves together many interconnected stories in a final crescendo of hilarity, adrenaline-pumping violence and smokin' hot chicks." -
Publishers Weekly
Round three: the knuckle-busting conclusion to writer/artist Felipe Smith's tale of talent finding recognition in Los Angeles! Omario still doesn't have a comic book contract or money-or a roommate or food to eat, if he keeps acting the fool. Rookie Cop O'Malley struggles to manage fear and anger as he dives headfirst into Ktown's underworld. Over on the West Side, Brian and Jeff still hold down their daily grind. Will they be stuck there forever? Read and find out!
Praise for the MBQ Trilogy
"
MBQis more than manga . . .Felipe Smith doesn't fall into the trap of half-assedly remixing well-known poses, expressions, and phrases into 'new' stories. He's actually drawing instead of cloning, his characters look totally different from one another, and if he ever uses a manga cliché, it's for good reason." -
Wired
"Dynamic and comical . . . Full of breathtaking violence, hot sexy chicks and an utterly absurd comic-within-a-comic,
MBQis almost too good to be true." -
