This Must Be the Place

Originally Louisa only comes back to her hometown for her uncles funeral, inheriting a gay bar was the last thing she expected. Throughout the novel Louisa comes to terms with who her uncle was, who she wants to be and what this place means to it´s community. This is exactly the kind of book I would have loved when I was 16, a cheesy feel good romcom with a little bit of drama and more than enough gay puns. Looking at it now I still think it´s a very cute novel but it lacks depth in certain places and feels a bit rushed at times, especially towards the end. I enjoyed this read nontheless and definetly recommend it to anyone who wants a fun queer summer romance!
