When Nell, on her last day off before a new mission, meets two striking strangers on the airplane and they invite her to party, she decides "fuck it." It's her last breath of freedom before who knows how long, and she wants to enjoy it. Whereas first she had her sights on Adam, Bradshaw quickly gains her interest more and they end up sleeping with each other—too late, they realize that their next mission is together, and Bradshaw is the killing machine Nell needs to protect (while being a newcomer whom everyone hates). Turns out, the mission is not at all what they'd expected. And neither are they. Hatred and desire mixed together are a heady poison, and Nell and Bradshaw are already intoxicated by it. PLEASE read the trigger warnings if you're not used to dark romance, or have problems with some thematics! I loved this book so much, I can't stop to recommend it.

Everyone in the squad hates Bunny because of her past mistakes and tries to bully her out of the team. But the relationship between the emotionally distant and aggressive Bones and the stubborn Bunny grows more and more complicated, leaving scars on both of them. What could possibly go wrong when two broken souls work together on a very dangerous mission? This book had me in a chokehold from the very beginning. The intense and dangerous needs between Bones and Bunny are absolutely disturbing and yet fascinating. It is both spicy and heartwarming at some point. I wasnt prepared at all for all the plot twists this book has to offer. A must-read for Call Of Duty fan-fiction enjoyers.
