Tempest The pirate fantasy phenomenon from the Sunday Times bestselling author of Red Queen soon to be a major TV series

Tempest is a really great and interesting book. It is slow paced, but I never lost interest in reading. Normally, I have problems continuing slow paced high fantasy novels with lots of politics, but this one always kept me interested. I don't know if it's because of the two different timelines or because Cat is an interesting character who I do not really like but definitely respect. And, of course, because of Valerian who is the typical book boyfriend and a pirate, so he is swoon worthy. I started to think that this book found me in the perfect time for me to read it and I still do after finishing. I can't wait for the second book of the series and to see how the story goes on and what still remains to be discovered of the past. Thank you, Victoria Aveyard, for this masterpiece and for supporting my obsession with pirates!
