The story of Ram has been told countless times-by sages, poets, and devotees, each with their own vision. Valmiki's Ramayana is the divine epic of duty and dharma. Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas is a song of devotion and surrender. But what of Sita? What of her voice, her heart, her vision of Ram?
This book, Vaidehi's Verse: Ram as I Saw Him, is an attempt to imagine how Sita might have seen Ram-not as the world saw him, not merely as a prince, a warrior, or a king, but as she knew him, as she loved him, as she lived through him. From his birth to his final departure, Sita's gaze rests upon Ram with love, admiration, sorrow, and wisdom. Through these verses, she remembers, reflects, and reimagines his journey as her own. Like Valmiki and Tulsidas, who envisioned Ram beyond their own lifetimes, Sita, too, in this poetic narration, sees what she could not witness-his birth in Ayodhya, his childhood under Dasharatha's care, the joys and trials of his life, and the destiny that shaped him. But her telling is different. It is the telling of a wife, a lover, a queen, a mother, and a woman who walked alongside divinity and bore the weight of fate. These poems are not merely retellings; they are whispers from Sita's heart. They are her songs, her sighs, and her silent meditations on the one she called her own. May these verses bring you closer to Ram, through the eyes of the one who loved him most. This book is part of the "Timeless Wisdom Series", offering insights into spirituality, philosophy, psychology, and self-growth for readers of all ages.Ein neues Kapitel für Ihre Bücher
