From renowned shamanic practitioner Sandra Ingerman and Ash Miner, a fresh approach to journeying that opens doorways to new, more peaceful, ways of living.
"When we observe the River of Life, we learn how to keep flowing through the obstacles life brings for us. We learn how to navigate the flow," writes Sandra Ingerman. Life has no shortage of obstacles-either personally or collectively. In this potent book, Sandra and Ash Miner offer guidance for navigating that flow.
Most shamanic journeying taught today is what Sandra would call "vertically" on the World Tree- connecting us in the Middle World to the Lower World (ancestors, power animals, helping spirits) and the Upper World (ancestors, spirit teachers, deities). This book teaches "horizontal" journeying-doorways to other dimensions of our current reality. Horizontal journeying opens portals into new ways of living that allow us to step beyond the current collective consciousness. Throughout the book, Sandra and Ash share powerful meditations, journeys, and practices, including:
· Calling yourself home
· Meeting the Spirit of Time as an ally
· Breathing with the living universe
· Living as your future self
· Transmuting toxic energy and substances
· Journeying or meditating to walk through doorways that might lead you to a miracle.
As Sandra writes, "In journeying horizontally on the World Tree, we start to learn how we can create change and build a new, good life for ourselves, our loved ones, and our community."
