I’m a Ravelry user for many years, and I came across Melanie Berg while searching for a shawl pattern. I was instantly intrigued by her colourful wool combinations. The book’s layout is not only well thought, she also has chosen the best patterns for this collection. And a plus point is also to read the patterns and all the additional texts in English as well. So it’s up to you in which language you want to start knitting. That she has added the full written pattern is for me very convenient, as I knit with this style for many years. The only difficult part is, I think not only for me, to choose a shawl pattern you like, because they look all so beautiful and you only can cast on one pattern at a time. I look forward to buying the second collection of shawl patterns. I’m sure they will be colourful as well. And now with the winter season coming, get ready with a load of a colourful stash of wool and let’s start knitting.
