"I'm not always good at using words to describe emotion"

With a title so beautiful how could I not read this book? It was only later that I learned it was also written by the creator of one of my favorite television shows – Bojack Horseman! The writing-style is definitely similar to the wit and surrealist tendencies of the show. Some of these short stories were a hit, some a miss but as a complete collection I thoroughly enjoyed my reading experience and will certainly re-read some chapters again in the future. Personal highlight for me was the very short chapter appropriately named “short stories” - for its poignant observations of big concepts with few words.

I will be honest I only bought this collection because teh author created Bojack Horseman and I am a big fan, but I wasn't disappointed. Not every story was for me but I love how strange and weird they all were. This book was at times super depressing and at others hilarious which is exactly wehat I love in literary fiction! My favorite story was 'Move across the country'. :)
