In this book, four stories take place one after the other, but somehow connect to each other. When you sit at this Café, and order a special one-in-a-lifetime coffee, you can see again someone from the past. But the thing is, good-byes are tricky, and even more when the time is so limited. This book is a must read. All this series is so gutting, and so beautifully written. -

Would you travel back in time if you could?
In this small cozy cafe you can not only drink coffee, but also travel through time. However, this doesn't work without a few rules and risks. For example, there is a time limit and you have to sit in a certain chair. But this chair is occupied most of the time. So who would want to wait an indefinite amount of time just to meet someone for a few minutes? This book series really touched me and I still think about it from time to time. Short stories are told about different people who all have a different reason for traveling in time. To meet a former lover again. To pet a deceased animal again. Or to say something that was kept quiet. A beautiful book to empathize with, cry and laugh with. -

My heart really broke for all of them but the book tells us an important lesson: To always cherish every moment because we're never gonna get them back.
