You Deserve Each Other

You Deserve Each Other was a really good book and i enjoyed it so much. The book totally reminded me of the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, with the witty banter, the chaos, and the delightfully over-the-top antics the two main characters use to drive each other crazy. I laughed so often while reading it. The humor was right up my alley and ensures that the story never feels too heavy, despite the conflicts. The story centers on Naomi and Nicholas, an engaged couple whose relationship is on the brink of collapse. Neither wants to call off the wedding, so they both try to get the other to be the one to end it and that’s exactly what leads to the most absurd and hilarious situations. To me, Naomi is clearly the epitome of “never be a man’s peace” and I simply loved her character. She’s quick-witted, chaotic, and doesn’t mince words. It’s her personality in particular that makes the book incredibly entertaining. Overall, You Deserve Each Other was simply something different from the typical romance novel. The unusual premise, the humor, and the development of the relationship made this book a real highlight for me. Anyone who loves romantic comedies with plenty of wit and a touch of chaos should definitely give this book a chance.
