Catch the Rabbit

here honestly couldn’t have been a better time to read this. picture this - 26 hour bus trip from frankfurt (germany) to mostar (bosnia) cigarette stops and dirty toilets followed by 30 minute naps and being woken up by loud traditional Bosnian music. waking up between mountain view’s filled by beautiful lake water, looking over my shoulder and looking at the beautiful faces of my friends. pure fulfillment of the essence of this book. that alone got this reading experience to 5 stars, and even without that, i would’ve loved this book. the messiness of friendship and leaving home and trying to deal with the pain of it all.
