The original story of the same-named movie: dark, thrilling and full of "vampiric" creatures. As in the movie we start to empathize with the maincharacter and hope for him to fullfill his calling.

Viele werden den Film kennen. Will Smith als Protagonist und das legendäre Ende. Dieses Buch, wenn auch fast dieselbe Prämisse, ist so wundervoll anders als der Film. Insgesamt möchte ich nicht zu viel dazu schreiben, was letztendlich im Verlauf der Story anders ist, es sei aber gesagt, es lohnt sich!!!!!

This book is fast paced, thrilling and perfect to be read it in just one sitting. It's a typical 'last man on earth'-story, but somehow still manages to feel strangely uncommon and different. The story is funny, sad and chilling and really makes me want to watch the film - even though the main character isn't charming at all... So if you are looking for a short horror-story that feels like Dracula but turned around - this might be your book!
