Ich habe das Buch mit meiner Frau gelesen und wir haben viel gelacht. die Situationskomik trifft voll unseren Geschmack und ich hoffe das es eines Tages noch ins deutsche übersetzt wird damit noch mehr in den Genuß dieser Geschichte kommen. Meine Frau ist schwer zum Lachen zu bringen aber dieses Buch hat es geschafft.

Das Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist keines dieser typischen im Hype liegenden Bücher, in dem sich ab dem 3. Kapitel alles nur noch um die Körperlichkeiten der Protagonisten dreht. Das Buch ist mein liebstes aus dieser Reihe - die Naturverbundenheit der Protagonistin ist spürbar und man fiebert richtig mit. Das Buch zu lesen erinnert mich an das Gefühl, wenn man bei Regen eingewickelt in eine Decke am offenen Fenster sitzt und eine Tasse warmen Tee trinkt. Einfach pures Wohlfühlen ohne viel Drama. Nicht falsch verstehen - die Geschichte hat einen Plot und es gibt auch ein paar Spannungssteigerungen. Allerdings wohl gewählt und sinnvoll eingesetzt. Für mich meine absolute Wohlfühlgeschichte.

Follow the pair along for a 'fake it until you make it' adventure as well as whitnessing uncle Alzapraz' glorious style. Sarah Hawley wrote a truly hilarious, witchy story that will get you right out of a reading slump.

What a delightful and fun paranormal romance! Haven't had such fun with a book in a looong time. Absolutely fitting as a fall read with just the right amount of spice and steam. Mariel and Oz are greatly characterized and so unique in their own ways. With insights on family, trauma, selfdoubt and friendship it also brings a deep story. A little twist and action in the end made it fully complete. Can't wait for the second book!

This funny fantasy romcom had me laughing for a while there. I so enjoyed the modern witch that accidentally calls a demon. The enemies-to-lovers vibes are worth it and I totally recommend this book. Für alle Fantasy Romcom Liebhaber ein Muss!
