Tress of the Emerald Sea A Cosmere Novel

I have rated another Sanderson book with five stars as well, and I am sorry I cannot give this one more. This book is absolutely beautiful! A fairytale kind of book lived by normal people with extraordinary lives. //==// In a world of Dougs, Tress is the heroine my heart has been craving. Every character in this book is unique and lovingly written into the story. Especially the relationship of Tress and Charlie seems incredibly warm and real, just two young people being comfortable and safe in each other’s presence. //==// This story being written by a character at home in Sanderson’s Cosmere just makes for an even more immersive reading experience. This also changes the tone of the story greatly from all the books I have read of his previously. This just speaks for his range and growth as a writer over the past years. Brandon Sandersons Cosmere-Werke sind unverkennbar - und trotzdem sticht Tress deutlich aus dem Meer seiner Bücher heraus. Personen entwickeln sich in die unterschiedlichsten Richtungen, einige entpuppen sich als entwas anderes als sie zu glauben meinten, und am Ende des Buches ist Tress mit ihrer Crew zu Familie geworden. Charmant, humorvoll, stark: Tress ist ein Buch, das jeder lesen sollte!

Was aus einer zurückhaltender Fensterputzerin alles werden kann, wenn sie sich aufmacht ihren Liebsten zu retten der leider kein Gärtner ist. Märchenhaft phantastisch und sehr entspannend zu lesende Heldenreise der etwas anderen Art. Sanderson zum Wohlfühlen.
