LITTLE PRINCE PB

This edition of "The little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery is absolutely stunning! The story in and of it self is timeless. This book is something for everyone, it´s no surprise that it is being read by almost any age group and translated into over 570 languages. Did I mention how beautiful this Puffin Classic edition is...

Finally getting started on the many classics I own which are yet to be read I loved the way the author imparted wisdom with this story. I found it very creative, and I enjoyed reading about the little prince and his endeavors very much. One thing that strikes me as odd, though, is the way it’s marketed towards kids. Maybe it reads different in French (the original language) but in my opinion the wording in English is a bit too complex for children to understand. But then again, maybe I’m already too grown up and don’t give children enough credit for their imagination It still is a very special book and I am glad I’ve read it. One of my most favourite quotes from the story: "It is only with the heart that one can see clearly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."
