Hades, on the other hand, grumpy as ever, tries to get rid of her but can't quite figure out a way how to do that. And what once was a begrudging alliance slowly becomes more... Perfect for fans of YA romantasy about Greek Mythology retellings!

Following Persephone’s escape to the underworld and to the life she was always meant to live was a blast! I’m not gonna lie, I almost read this book in one go. We accompany Persephone on her journey to becoming the confident queen of the underworld, with her loving husband Hades as the King by her side. I love how the characters have completely contrasting personalities, but balance each other out perfectly. They’re both different than you’d expect, considering how they’re usually portrayed. The two of them learn a lot from each other and there’s loads of character development, that's always a plus in my book. Their main love language is basically a mixture of sarcasm and teasing, which makes it hilarious to read. To anyone who likes slow burn and a funny Enemies-to-Lovers story, I highly recommend reading ‘Girl, Goddess, Queen’!
