Great as an audiobook!
I listened to the audiobook and it was magnificent! Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan narrates! I know this is technically a prequel to Her Majesty's Royal Coven but it works so well on its own. It is a gay love story but mostly it's about loyalty and family. I loved it! -

Wenn ich nicht so sehnsüchtig auf den nächsten Band in der Reihe warten würde hätte ich diese Vorgeschichte noch weit mehr genossen. So steigert sich natürlich nur meine Ungeduld. -

BOW DOWN WITCHES!
As someone who loves the HMRC series I HAD to read this short prequel novel asap, starring none other than Her Royal Majesty Anne Boleyn herself. Juno Dawson is a master of writing about patriarchal power structures, criticising them & weaving feminist notions into her stories. As always, it was touching to read about the witches’ fight for justice and their complicated relationships with each other and the world around them. Paired with the historical aspect, the book was completely up my alley and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in learning the origins of the coven we know from the main series.
