Another awesome book from this series. In this one you don’t ever get a chance to take a break from this book. It’s so much happening, there is always action and not even Carl and Donut get a pause. Your emotions are always going to be on a high and your going to anxious and hope that everyone survives. I‘m really hyped for the faction wars in the next book. But you still have some funny and wholesome moments.

I can't explain how Matt Dinniman manages to improve his own recipe and pull heartstrings at the same time, but he still does it.. This book felt a lot more complex and lore heavy, because the Deckbuilder-Style chosen for this new floor needed a lot of information to be given to the reader. Still, because I do like card games and the fights felt action packed and fun, this wasn't a problem for me. But beware, this book will get you to shed a tear, at least I did. There were so many tense moments and raw emotions, especially when the book got into the personal stories of our characters. From the Action, to the crazy shenanigans all the way to sitting on the edge of my seat for the characters I've come to hold so dear, I loved everything about this book. And I hope you will too.
