Sweet Venom

Englisch: Similar to the "Legacy of Gods" series, the plot lines of the "Vipers" trilogy overlap. This gives us an insight with Jude and Violet in the second book of the series into the time before book 1, but also after it. I have to say, I liked "Sweet Venom" soooo much more than "Beautiful Venom." Despite his vendetta, Jude made my heart beat faster every time he stalked or met Violet. There was so much emotion behind it, and they both grew so much together! It was an emotional roller coaster, but I loved every page! This book is another masterpiece by Rina Kent. Emotional, suspenseful, and with just the right amount of spice and surprises. I could have read about Jude and Violet forever. I love these two!

Okay wow, this book was a lot! I didn't know a book could have this many plottwists and still be so good! I had to remove a star because the story ignited a very depressing mood in the beginning which wasn't good for my own mental health. Please pay attention to your triggers. I actually considered to stop reading the book, but I'm glad that I didn't because this book shows how someone as Violet with all the shit she went through can heal and thrive when getting the help she needed. I loved how it was very close to Beautiful Venom but at the same time so much different. We had a lot of Dahlia and Kane but much less Vencor and spice actually. And with all that happened to Violet, it would've felt wrong to have more spice here (don't get me wrong, you still get your fair share). It just wasn't the focus of the story. Also, it was super emotional for reasons I will not write about, but I cried A LOT. I liked it!
