Lauren and Ryan are the perfect couple. Everything about their love story seems to be perfect and a future together is almost certain. Until they move away from each other step by step and their love is nothing more than anger towards each other. But do they really want to give up their love and marriage? This book will break your heart into a million pieces! It started out so cute and got more and more heartbreaking, like being part of this marriage yourself. At some points I was just as sad and angry as the two of them - and I think that was what was so special about this book: it pulled you into the action! And it was super exciting, especially at the end, because you didn't really know what you wished for the two of them. Highly recommended!

I love how unique this love story was. Lauren and Ryan have been through a long relationship already and have to do a lot of work to find their way back to each other. Their story felt a lot more real than other romance novels and it also included family and friends a lot.

Taylor Jenkins Reid is a truly phenomenal writer. This book made me fall in love and broke my heart. I bawled my eyes out and kept turning the pages at increasing speed, fulfilling my desperate need to know what is going to happen. I have never read a book centered on a love story before that is so hauntingly relatable.
