The Troop Tiktok's favourite horror novel!

After coming across many positive recommendations, I checked out this horror novel for myself and simply couldn't stop reading even though my heart was racing with my nerves stretched to the thinnest!! Nick Cutter did a fantastic job in combining classic elements of body horror with a narrative point of view that allows the reader to collect snippets of information via police reports, interviews and newspaper clippings of which the isolated protagonists don't know anything about. In this way, the reader is always one tiny step ahead of the novel's tragic characters and more than once I wanted to shout at them to run, run, run as fast as they can!! It has been a very long time since I have read my last horror story but I am happy to say that this is the absolute right choice for you if you are looking for a novel that makes you stay awake at night to keep on reading and to tug at the frightened end of your nerves.
