For me, there are very few authors who can build suspense as brilliantly as Chris Carter. Once again, this book had me completely hooked from beginning to end. The most impressive part is how he constantly makes you believe you’ve figured everything out, only to turn the entire story upside down with an unexpected twist. Just when you think you know what’s coming next, Chris Carter proves you wrong in the best possible way. I wasn’t disappointed for a single moment. On the contrary, this book reminded me once again why he’s my favorite thriller author. His storytelling is exceptional, and he knows exactly how to keep readers on the edge of their seats. Another outstanding thriller that I simply couldn’t put down. Highly recommended!
