The Sweetest Fiend

First of all, the cover is absolutely stunning, and the sprayed edges make the book even more beautiful! I also really enjoyed the writing style, especially at the beginning. It was easy to follow and made the book a relaxing read, even when I was tired. I found the retelling really interesting, and I loved the overall concept behind the story. It was a unique take on the original, and I was curious to see how everything would unfold. However, I did struggle with the pacing, especially in the middle, where the story started to drag a little. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending either, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. I don’t usually read romantasy, and this book reminded me why. While I enjoyed certain aspects of the story, the focus was a little too much on the romance and not enough on the fantasy for my personal taste. But that’s honestly on me for not reading the description properly before picking it up! That being said, I can definitely see why others would love this book, and I’d especially recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance heavy fantasy
