Amber doesn't know it yet but she has been given a chance to say goodbye and fix all the things that shattered after her sudden and unexpected death. Gayle Forman's writing style and the short chapters of "After Life" make it easy and fun to read, though the topic of this book isn't fun at all. "After Life" had me in a chokehold from the beginning and if I'm being honest it also made me cry a little, especially at the end when all the puzzel pieces are being put together and Ambers ghost can finally find the peace that she deserves.
