Julia is a small-town girl who loves her peaceful life. But when her family inherit a not-so-small fortune from her secret multi-millionaire neighbour, she is swept away to live in New York City and attend an elite private school for the super-rich.
It should be a dream come true, but Julia is struggling to fit in at her new school, and even worse, she's failing. Enter Damion, the mysterious and handsome tutor who is hired to get Julia back on track. Except Damion has a secret: he is a relative of the man who left everything to Julia's family, and he doesn't buy for a second that his Great-uncle would leave his fortune to strangers instead of family.
Damion schemes to earn Julia's trust, so he can uncover what really happened. But the more time Damion spends with Julia, the more his plan begins to backfire, as he soon starts falling for her.
As Damion and Julia work to figure out where they belong, will they be able to see past their differences and lean into their feelings, or will the trust Damion has worked so hard to gain lead everything to fall apart?
A swoony and fun, opposites-attract romance from the New York Times bestseller, Lynn Painter.

Buch (Taschenbuch)
New York, Fall, Romance
There is nothing more perfect than a cozy fall book set in New York City. “Trust Fall“ by Lynn Painter gave me the exact autumn feeling I was hoping for after seeing the cover! I loved the cozy atmosphere, and getting to see the upper class was very entertaining. It was dramatic, fun, and very romantic. The love story was a little cringe for my taste at times, but at the same time, you could feel how in love the male main character was through the pages. I also liked the dual POV, we had insights into the thoughts and feelings of both. Besides the lovestory, Julias family inheritated a lot of money from a family friend and the mystery and conflicts around this story were very interesting, I enjoyed having more story than just the romance. Overall, this was such a fun, cozy read that made me want to spend a fall day in New York. -

Buch (Taschenbuch)
“Love is spring, lust is summer, yearning is autumn, and heartbreak is deadass winter.”
• young adult romance • 2 POVs • mentions of death, grieving, mobbing • academic rivals || this was one of my most anticipated books this fall but I have to admit, it was kinda meh. The characters were not deep, only on a surface level and the whole "enemies" dynamics did get old FAST. It was autumn-y, it's New York, so the vibe was top notch. My fav person was probably Remington.
