Scarlet

I preordered ''Scarlet'' a while ago, and just couldn't wait for its release. The premise of this fantasy, based on historical facts, combined with a strong female lead and VAMPIRES, was just too good to be true. This was such a pageturner, I couldn't put it down! Eleanor spends most of her life working as a servant in a vampiric household, when she gets send to London, to work for Sir Percy (and yes, we are talking about THE Sir Percy AKA the Scarlet Pimpernel). What they want from Eleanor is clear: as bearing a strong resemblance to Marie Antoinette, she could be of great help for the league. A story of espionage commences, it's fun, pacy and there certaintly is a lot going on. The world building is amazing and I can't wait for Eleanor's story to continue!
