Talking at Night

Wow! I really loved this book. Will and Rosie, when will they ever confess their feelings for each other ? Their connection runs deeper than anything they've ever felt before, making it impossible to not find one another again and again. I loved both of them and sometimes also hated them for the things they did and said. Their story is tragic, their love is enormous and life seems to throw so many things at them. Understanding your feelings is not always the easiest thing to do, but what if you know what you feel about someone and still can't act on those feelings? Lets just say Will and Rosie can tell you a thing or two about that.

this book changed my way of thinking about life, left me feeling full of hope and empty at the same time. if this book had a voice it would be soft spoken.

Talking at Night is a soft-spoken, melancholy story about Will and Rosie—opposites who meet through Rosie’s twin brother. Will, emotionally distant, begins to open up to Rosie, and the two share random late-night conversations. But a pivotal event on Will’s birthday changes everything, marking a turning point in their relationship. Over the years, Rosie and Will keep running into each other, but the timing is never quite right for them. I loved the slow pace and the cozy rom-com feel of their relationship. The writing kept me hooked throughout the story and took me through every possible emotion. 4/5 Stars from me because sometimes her decisions annoyed me slightly. But all in all a great read.
