Being ordinary is a crime
I read "Powerless" at the same time as reading "Powerfull". They are set at the same time so if you want to you can tandem read them. I would seriously recommend it. It destroyed me emotionally. I was a huge fan of "the hunger games" when I was younger and this book gave me the same vibes just with magic and powers added into it. And you cant forget about the romance either. Their chemistry was so good and very entertaining. I felt with them from the very beginning. Everybody who loves romantasy and "The Hunger Games" should read this book! -

Romantasy at its finest
This was such a pleasure to read! A great start to the series with strong characters, fast pace and slight but tense enemies-to-lovers trope. The magic system is easy to understand and the story reads well without a whole lot of world building so this could be a great start for everyone wanting to try a Romantasy for the first time! Other than that, I'd say if you enjoyed the Hunger Games or the Red Queen, you'll love Powerless
