Nehmt es mit Humor und ihr werdet unglaublich viel lachen! Ich war anfangs auch noch besorgt, ob die Geschichte was für mich ist, aber habe im Endeffekt die hanze Zeit gelacht. Ich hatte definitiv einen riesen Spaß dabei dieses Buch zu lesen!

Nehmt es mit Humor und ihr werdet unglaublich viel lachen! Ich war anfangs auch noch besorgt, ob die Geschichte was für mich ist, aber habe im Endeffekt die hanze Zeit gelacht. Ich hatte definitiv einen riesen Spaß dabei dieses Buch zu lesen!

Waking up to find yourself in a world known but not your own could frighten anyone. Doing so as a carp inside a kitchen even more so. All Li Yu wants is to be human again. Who would have thought there would be that many issues along the way? Master Cat wants to eat him. The Emperors favoured Concubine strives for more power by undermining his Master. Oh, and the fish-scamming systems overseeing his survival is being very unhelpful purposefully, he's sure. What's a fish to do to please his master while having to survive the machinations inside the imperial palace as the Tyrant's Beloved Pet. A very humorous tale, I can't get enough of.

Poor transmigrated carp getting scammed - sob sob

Usually when you pick up a story with transmigration, the main character gets reborn into a novel as the hero or villain, but not Li Yu. No, he wakes up and has become a fish. This series is hilarious, full of laughs, great characters and sweet moments between the main couple. Li Yu as a main character is amusing to follow, his inner monologue is the best comedy at times, and I especially enjoyed seeing the relationship between him and Mu Tianchi blossom. While there isn't much plot, the characters carry the series and their interactions are definitely worth the read. I can recommend this story for anyone interested in seeing the more bizarre sides of the danmei genre or who just wants something sweet and funny.

Have you ever fallen asleep just to wake up and to realize that you‘ve turned into a fish? Well… me neither, but Li Yu can tell you all about it! This transmigration danmei is hilariously funny and wins you over with its lovable characters. The interactions between the tyrant prince Jing and his little carp Li Yu are absolutely heartwarming and in the foreground most of the time. The plot rather takes place in the background of the growing relationship, which I think is a refreshing change. This made for a very quick and entertaining read. I would recommend this for everyone who enjoys A good, fluffy slowburn story.
