Follow the freshly reincarnated Wei Wuxian on his hunt to find all the missing body parts of a misterious corpse. On his journey to solve this mistery he meets old friends, old rivals as well as new friends and allies. All this while trying to hide his true identity. This is the first book in a series of 5 and I can just highly reccomend it! This series has it all... friendship, love, revenge, as well as magic and heartbreak. These books and their characters will always have a special place in my heart.

  The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish: Canji Baojun De Zhangxin Yu Chong (Novel) Vol. 1

  Have you ever fallen asleep just to wake up and to realize that you‘ve turned into a fish? Well… me neither, but Li Yu can tell you all about it! This transmigration danmei is hilariously funny and wins you over with its lovable characters. The interactions between the tyrant prince Jing and his little carp Li Yu are absolutely heartwarming and in the foreground most of the time. The plot rather takes place in the background of the growing relationship, which I think is a refreshing change. This made for a very quick and entertaining read. I would recommend this for everyone who enjoys A good, fluffy slowburn story.

  The best kind of fever dream! I got easily sucked into this unique tale of southern gothic. This book is filled with strong emotions and compels with a beautiful writing style and interesting characters. It's the perfect amount of creepy, with an intense queer slowburn romance.

  The Song of Achilles. Anniversary Edition

  This retelling of the story of Achilles through the eyes of Patroclus is filled with emotion and love. You as the reader get to see the two grow up together and experience the development of the friendship and love between them. The tender moments between Achilles and Patroclus are extremely touching and left me with a fuzzy feeling. All the more devastating are the later developments (which isn't a spoiler because everyone who knows their Greek mythology knows how their story ends). Madeline Miller is the modern master of Greek mythology and her writing is incredibly atmospheric. This is definitely an all time favourite!!! And as a true fan I absolutely had to buy this stunning anniversary edition!

  Problematic Summer Romance

  I stared this, read the first 40 pages and was instantly OBSESSED!! Then my book bestie told me I had to read “Not In Love” before this one, which for whatever reason I hadn’t done until then. (I know, shame on me) So of course I finished “Not In Love” within 24 hours, just so that I could get back to Maya and Conor! I still very much enjoyed Rue’s and Eli’s story, don’t get me wrong, but in the back of my mind there was still a summer romance in Italy calling for me. Anyways... I’m telling you all this just to paint a vivid picture of what a grip this romcom had on me from the very beginning. This one has it all, the yearning, the banter, the tension... All of that thrown together with the most beautiful and romantic setting in Sicily for an absolutely perfect summer romance. The only thing that would have made this experience even more perfect, to read this while sunbathing on the beach.

  Carry On

  I was a huge Fan of “Fangirl” by Rainbow Rowell, so naturally I had to read “Carry On” as soon as it was released. I loved the snippets of Simon and Baz we got in “Fangirl” and therefore I was really excited when they got their whole story told. This is perfect for every Potterhead who needs the Hogwarts vibes but doesn’t wanna reread the series for the 100th time. The chemistry between Simon and Baz is sooooo good and I very much enjoyed the tension between the two. My favourite part is when Simon visits Baz at his family-home and all the chaos that ensues from there. I enjoyed every second of this queer magical mystery tale and it's been one of my favourites for years now.

  Howl's Moving Castle meets Polish folklore A sentient Manor in an enchanted forest, with a mysterious and intriguing master, a girl with magical abilities on the journey to find her place in this world, and loads of fascinating (sometimes terrifying) mythical creatures roaming through the forest and it’s surrounding villages. You definitely can’t tell this is a debut novel! The writing is absolutely beautiful, the story touching and personal, and the found family trope is executed to perfection. From page one you get sucked into this fairy tale world and you can feel all the love that was put into this. This fairy tale ensnared me from the beginning to the very end!!!

  This Fatal Kiss

  This was such a refreshing read! I really enjoyed all of the mythical beings and aspects of Slavic folklore woven into this fascinating fantasy novel. The whole vibe was just so magical and beautiful. I also really enjoyed the budding romance between the three protagonists. It felt real and believable, it had everything a REAL LOVETRIANGLE should have!! The characters all had their own intrigue and worked really well together. The banter was entertaining and I loved all of the mischievous little creatures. The found family trope is one of my favourites and was very well executed. The only reason this doesn’t get five stars from me, is because I expected this to be a standalone novel. The ending felt very much like a setup for a sequel. I mean I’m still curious to see how the story will continue, i just would have preferred if this was a little longer and a one and done kinda deal.

  Pole Position

  This was such an entertaining, cute und spicy F1 romance! It's for everyone who's deep into the F1 (Romance) rabbit hole (like me) and everybody who's just looking for a quick and entertaining romance. The chemistry between Kian and Harper was soooo good and the development of their relationship from teammates/rivals to friendly to romantic partners didn't feel rushed or unnatural. I giggled, gasped and felt with the characters through their hardships and downfalls. I can just full-heartedly recommend!
