2,5 Stars. This book was a really quick read, with short chapters and riddles. It was creepy and engaging. Sadly the story doesn’t really play with the riddles and clues. So this ends up being a somewhat unsatisfactory experience. Also this feels like a Part one to a series.

Super captivating and exciting! Unexpected twists - the more you read, the more you realize how brilliantly the author has woven the chapters together. I never felt that anything was missing that could have made the book more exciting or thrilling.

I never thought I could be genuinely scared while reading a book, however Marcus Kliewer proofed me wrong. Through his detailed descriptions he managed to create such creepy and unsettling scenes that literally made my heart beat faster. Therefore I do not recommend reading this book late at night while being home alone. So be cautious when picking up this book - it might be the cause for a sleepless night!
