James is just the perfect mix of Aaron and Kenji. It was so wholesome reading all the characters interacting and it gave me such nostalgia seeing the iconic trio together again. Rosabelle Wolff reminds me so much of Aaron it’s crazy. It was all in all such a quick read I finished it in one day and I’m a slow reader. The ending was also really sudden and…kind of a shock.

A must read for „Shatter Me“ fans. Absolutely stunning

To say this book had me in a chokehold the entire time I was reading it is an understatement. I read the shatter me books a couple of years back and fell in love with the world and the characters. I was so excited when the next book was announced and had very high hopes. It did NOT disappoint. I was immediately hooked and sucked back into the world. The writing was as always great. The world was expanded in a way that made the time jump of 10 years easy to follow. But what I really want to praise the author for is the banter between the characters. You just can’t do anything but fall in love with them. The new characters had a thrilling story und where build really well. This book brought all the emotions out of me. I laughed, I cried and I was angry. Can’t wait for the next book.

I was very happy to dive back into the bookish world of the "Shatter Me" series. This new series takes place 10 years later and focuses on James and his life. I'm gonna be honest - I did not remember the "Shatter Me" books to be as brutal and ruthless as this one. Nevertheless, I was able to get lost in the story and was thrilled to meet new characters along with the ones I got to know and love in the "Shatter Me" books. A new storyline that presents new challgenges and new developments was being created here and I'm excited to see where this new series will go.
