The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk. Special Edition

I’m always looking forward to reading more from the Nyaxia world by Carissa Broadbent. And after the spectacular end of The Songbird and the Heart of Stone, I was beyond excited to see how Mische and Asar‘s story continues.   And oh, wow this book tugs at your heartstrings and I fell even more in love with these two. I loved how part of it takes place in the underworld and Asar truly must give his all to save Mische and the lengths he goes to was just stunning. These two are a force to reckon with and not even the mortal or immortal realms can stop them.   While this book was definitely focused on Asar‘s character development, Mische could do no wrong in my opinion because she sacrificed everything and deserves all the love and happiness with Asar. I was rooting for them the entire time and truly felt a rollercoaster of emotions again. Their romance is just next level and it even deepened, and I was a wreck for like half the book.   This book was just everything I hoped for and more and what an epic finale this was. It’s so bittersweet because their story is over for now. I loved experiencing this world with Mische and Asar and if you haven’t met them yet and you want a stunning romantasy, this is a must-read. 5 stars and already counting down the days for The Lion and The Deathless Dark.   (Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an arc.)
