Quicksilver The utterly addictive enemies-to-lovers romantasy sensation

For everyone looking for something with a twist – and who hasn't been amazed in a long time. In a desert city where night never falls and every drop of water means life or death, we meet Saeris – a brave young woman who takes care of her brother after the death of their parents. Saeris makes a living through stealing. By day, she helps her mentor in a glassblowing workshop. But when she one day steals something far too valuable from the wrong person, she is forced to leave everything behind. This book has been one of the best I've read this year (haha) and even though the year is still long, this will be hard to top! It has everything a heart could desire: a strong female main character, an irresistible MMC, problems that need solving, rivals, cute animals, enemies, showdowns, captivating backstories, steamy scenes, supernatural elements of course, and so on... The world-building and storytelling are incredible. For the first time in a long while, I felt truly immersed and was swept away into a reading flow. This book is absolutely top-notch, and I would highly recommend it to everyone :)

A normal girl, a sentence and her meeting with death himself. Saeris thinks she is normal, but when she opens a portal to another world (by accident) her entire world is about to be turned upside down. She is not as normal as she thinks she is. All she wants is to go back home. And the only one who can help her is death himself. He has a name, and he has an attitude. And he is the one helping Saeris survive and learn how to use the gift she was given. I absolutely loved their Chemistry and the way they can't stand each other but also don't really wanna be without the other one. It was so refreshing, and this book has such a good balance between romance and fantasy. Quicksilver is excatly the kind of book that gets you out of a reading slump and makes you love it again.

Das Buch war einfach nur toll. So eine schöne Fantasygeschichte mit tollen Charakteren! Die ganze Storyline reist einen in diese magische Welt voller Intrigen, Liebe und Krieg mit hinein. Man kann nicht genug bekommen. Ich bin so gespannt, wie die Geschichte weitergeht und kann es kaum erwarten, wie Kingfisher und Saeris sich weiterentwickeln. Ein absolutes must read.

Callie Hart re-awakened something deep in my heart that I had lost while reading romantasy. She brought back my enjoyment of the genre and made me appreciate this book deeply. Saeris and Kingfisher, their banter, chemistry, storyline... Everything is magical, from start to finish, and left me vibrating with excitement for more. I can't wait for the second book.

This is exactly what I want from a steamy fantasy romance! After seeing Booktok gush over Quicksilver, Idecied to finally give this book a chance and it was so worthit. If you are a fan of fated mates you need to read this!
