Great and an owl-lotta fun!
Had lots of fun with this short-story! It was fairly easy to jump through the pages of this love letter to slasher-horror-movies, written easily and yet captivating. I felt enough sympathy for the characters to still be sad once they got gruesomely murdered — as it is common for teenagers alone in the woods. However, despite having thought about several different outcomes, I was surprised multiple times. I enjoyed the very unexpected twists and turns. A very entertaining read I can recommend to every fan of horror-movie classics. Trigger warnings: graphic depictions of violence, animal death (killed "off-page"), abusive household (mentioned). -

Imagne a really good horror movie...
Imagne a really good horror movie but as a book. This is how it feels like to read this little masterpiece. It's exactly what I expected but suprised me too. Because of the tension building up slowly and startling turns I absolutely adore this book! -

I thought summer camps were supposed to be fun?
This was such an intense read. It was brutal und at some parts also disgusting – but I loved it! It was full of twists and teenagers making the usual stupid decisions you see in horror movies. The ending was a bit weird but I'm ignoring that. -

1980s slasher vibes with a sapphic main character
Happy summerween! This read was short, sweet and trilling. If you're a fan of classical 80s horror movies you CAN NOT miss out on "You're not supposed to die tonight"! I have to admit some of their decisions were pretty impulsive/ stupid and the start was a little slow but it got real dark and creepy soon enough and by the end the plot twists just kept on coming. Bonus point for the sapphic relationship between our final girl Charity and her badass girlfriend Bezi <3
